radical-mentoringThe primary mandate of the church is “Go and make disciples.” Unfortunately, the vast majority of churches have no intentional program to disciple their men. Even big churches don’t have a program that will take men from spiritual immaturity to full grown disciples of Christ.

A decade ago Regi Campbell chose eight young men in whom he saw a lot of potential. He was open and honest with them about his successes and failures in business and life. He shared the books he was reading that were molding him as a man. He helped them develop the spiritual disciplines that would make them stronger Christians.

The results have been profound. Those mentored have become leaders in their churches and communities. Their lives have become testimonies of what God can do with a man who is totally committed to Christ. Many have started their own Radical Mentoring groups. Most young men are looking for mentors who will guide them on the path of maturity to manhood.

Unfortunately, the pool from which to draw mentors is quite shallow. If your church is interested in learning how to mentor men 22-32 years old, give us a call and we will set up a date to train your men. Our preference is to train 30-40 churches at a time. In this seminar pastors and mature lay leaders will learn how to radically mentor young men.
